He's also has an even +/- (0 +/-) during those 6 games.
During that time frame,
Kyrou -6
Buch -8
Schenn -10
He is getting his groove back after the heartbreak of seeing his team blow an epic upset in most tragic manner, as he recovered from a really nasty injury.
He is also not not skating with a soul-killer, or a warrrior who has seen better days.
He will be himself again soon. He may even get welll enough to inspire Kyrou into growing a tiny set of gonads like he did last year. If that happens… he will get a letter someday soon.
Have you sat on a hockey bench while giving all you have in a playoff series as you watch a "Franchise Player" comport himself like he is playing only for highlight reels and a long career where he doesn't ache in the morning when he retires?
Unless he regrows that tiny set he found with Holloway, he is of little use to a playoff team with the faintest dream of going deep.
That may be an extreme case but Kyrou can create offense, and his best days might lie ahead.

Re: Holloway
I agree with most of his issues are probably injury related. Since none of us saw his rehab work after the injury we have no idea how long it's going to take for him to have a complete recovery, With the injuries I've had the mental aspect when it comes to regaining confidence is the biggest hurdle to overcome. I still see him making good defensive plays even though he has lost his scoring touch. It doesn't help that most of the team has also lost theirs.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 12:21 pm The Blues aren't saying much about the injury recovery expectation. I hope that his current troubles are completely unrelated to the injury. However, I would wager that his issue is injury-related. He seemed to have plenty of hockey smarts and confidence before. You don't get a nickname like Hollywood without confidence and smarts.

Definitely.
That “Third” Line is a huge and intriguing wild card tonight, in my opinion.

Let it go Dawg, he’s got an irrational hatred for JK and nothing anyone says will change that.DawgDad wrote: ↑03 Nov 2025 09:26 amI remember a soft little PP specialist who didn't blossom in the playoffs until his late 20's. The bitter pill which you refuse to swallow is that it is entirely rational.
I get it - he scores glamorous goals and looks cute scoring them.
Stack that against the playoff heart of the Grinch BEFORE he heard the villagers singing “Welcome Christmas, Dahoo Domus” and he is a net loss for a team that chooses to win hard checking playoff series, in the opinion of many whose opinions I truly value. And, of course, in my opinion. He fooled me twice. Shame on me for counting on him.
I don’t have it in for any other Blues and I always hope they win.
Kyrou is a playoff bust at his talent level and the manner in which he plays is not the manner of a winner.
I cannot abide a player who absolutely refuses to put it all on the line when a playoff game is hanging in the balance.

Hate him all you want, but a, you don’t know what’s going on in his head, and b, someone has got to score for this team I don’t see any other volunteers.

Re: Holloway
Comparing Kyrou to a Hall of Fame player with 10 Stanley Cups and he was never minus in his career is just silly Dawg.
I'd say Kyrou is more like a Rob Brown or a Dan Quinn.
