I watched a podcast and they said Vancouver wanted Sunny. He's too valuable to trade for anything lower than a second round pick and Vancouver won't give the Blues a second rounder. I wouldn't trade anyone. The Blues are going to come out of this funk.
They will come out of this funk...but is it too little too late? This conference is brutal...we may already have dug too big a hole. Now Sunny too valuable? You would probably get a 5th and I am surprised there would be any interest.
When Healthy and used properly, Sunny is needed badly on this team.
The thing about the trade rumors nobody is talking about is if Dvo keeps playing like has been they shouldn't send him back down when Thomas gets healthy which means a trade is going to have to be made for Thomas to be able to play. Texier being waived or whatever is the most obvious move i do think the blues have soured quite a bit on buch the last couple years he just doesn't have high hockey IQ.
IDK what you could get for Buch right now or what you would have to add to make it work out but Kyrou should NOT be in trade discussions at all so far this season Buch or Schenn are the two "core" wingers that make the most sense to move on from depending on what message you are trying to send ( IDK who would be C if Schenn is Traded i don't think Thomas is Ready) Both have Trade protections as well obviously.
I doubt if anyone who knows anything pays much attention to most of the stuff said here at the asylum. I get bored myself when only a few of the trusted Blues Talk folks post anything any more. So I will take the advice that will now come my way and go contemplate my sidewalk.

Thats a false statement just got sit some else probably Torpo, Walker, Sunny or Joseph. Now when Neighbors comes back that is when a move would need to happen. I figure by that time half the fanbase will have already fallen off the Dvo train.

Amen brother. I’m just here for the comic relief. Real hockey talk is in short supply here far too many days.

Calle Rosen for Cory Schuenman. Was that the big trade rumor lol
This will be the catalyst for the Cup win this June for sure…
huge trade. massive deal here......
I'm assuming this is the Blues signaling they aren't a fan of Kessels play?
Im not that good of a judge of defensemen, but he seems to take himself out of the play with big hits more often than is prudent.
I am not smart enough about defensemen (or goalies) to comment further.
Even if they like Kessel, the Blues need “steady and experienced” more than a promising tweener.
