"Bob Gibson is the only player to hit a home run in a winner take all game he pitched in."

They should have made a Dizzy Dean rule to let him stay and hit if he got taken out of a game.

Who knows if they had the DH in that era.

Same for Bob Gibson, or Don Drysdale and all the other good hitting pitchers.
