I don't understand the logic behind trading away Gray and then having to go spend money to replace him. Our rotation is very thin as is.
Maybe help get two decent pitchers for the $35 million Gray would receive next season.

I highly doubt it, but maybe. They'll have to pay money to trade him, so probably have account for that as well. I'd rather keep him and then just trade for a pitcher and sign a pitcher.
