I expect C. Bloom to dip his toes deeply into the int. market.

Let's hope he finds a young power hitter or two!

In one of the trades they got more international money and it was Bloom behind those trades. Yes they are going to sign a lot of players.

I've been hawking the failure to sign good international free agents as the bane of the Cards for years. The WS winners all have performed great in this area, and the Cards have done little of value until recently. It's been an embarrassment.
Herrera, Bernal, Raniel Rodriguez, Chen-Wei Lin, and Yairo Padilla indicate some improvement. Seems they like IFA catchers!
In 2016, they signed Adolis Garcia, Johan Oviedo, Randy Arozarena and Ivan Herrera and I thought they'd turned the corner.
