Schenn started the season trying to anchor a line with the ghost of Dylan Holloway on one wing and a player with the hockey IQ and compete level of a gerbil on the other. He has been forced to play a position that he is not suited for, but he is, without question, the best player in our organization to wear the C.
20 other guys do what the coach asks too....The problem is a lack of skill and speed. He and Buch are hurting the team when they are on the ice.

He will likely be a 3LW, maybe as immediate as when Thomas returns. He will likely be very effective in that role and the money isn’t an issue.
people calling for his head are idiots. it's not his fault he is having to play 2C. He should be a 2LW or 3LW 3C. They had one good thing going this year that was a known quantity and that was Hollywood/Schenn/Kyrou and they broke the line up game 2 dropping schenn down suter up, then holloway down schenn up. ETC ETC. He's not supposed to be a gamebreaker.

Being mad about this shows your hockey ignorance. Would you want brad marchand on your team?

I guarantee you, Schenn will not hurt the team when they have enough capable centers to play him as a Wing.
I don't know what is wrong with Buch... I remember the team struggled last year when he was out of the lineup- believe it or not.

I say this is just my opinion and I am not trying to start a rumor or sound like a troll...but he plays like he has off ice issues...
It would not shock me if he ends up in some sort of rehab. If that is indeed the case...I hope the guy gets the help he needs.
If that is not the issue...then I'm just left to scratch my head.
He NEVER played like this since he got here, although his time at center was ugly.

First time I've EVER seen that. I'm not even sure I've ever heard of it happening. Maybe in JV hockey...
Schenn has done that before...I think it was against Kemper.
So used to dump and chase.

Goodness, how do you come up with this?
Harsh suppositions based on what? A few minutes a week of TV (or live?) speculative observation?

I said I wasn’t saying it to be mean. It is just MY OPINION of what could be wrong. He is late on a lot of plays….and then when he gets the puck he is overly deliberate with it or he handles it like a grenade. He’s playing like he’s hung over.
Again, I sincerely hope that is not the issue…..but I am just trying to come up with a reasonable explanation for how he looks this season.

I remember listening to that game on the radio and I think Chase laughed for five straight minutes.

First bold: Truly, I believe you.
Second: That's a leap with knowledge I don't have. As a fan, I see an inadequate fraction of the team dynamic.

Have you played hockey at a competitive level hung over? Or is his play something you would imagine occurs when one is hung over? Accusing someone of a substance abuse problem worthy of rehab is a pretty definitive accusation.

Has this topic switched from Schenn to Buchnevich when writing about drunk and needing rehab?. I cannot figure out why he was re-signed and not traded. I think he has looked lost since losing his Russian buddies Tarasenko and then Barashev. That is why I was surprised he even wanted to continue to play for the Blues. He plays like a loner and appears moody. Buch should want a change of scenery but he has done little to lok attractive to another team so I don't know if a team would even offer a bag of pucks, literally.

Hopefully he finds a teammate to buddy up with on and off the ice and starts producing . I write that, but did I hear the broadcasters say a few games ago that he was on a point streak? 6 games, as it? Hard to believe if so. Not impactful with our record

Buchnevich has 0 points -6 in his past 3 games

Kyrou had a point streak until last game
