Can't answer that but prior to joining the Astros, Buffa co-founded a baseball performance facility in St. Louis. He's a 2016 grad of Missouri State so he's like 31. Young and experienced in applying performance science and biometrics is good enough for me.

In one of the trades they got more international money and it was Bloom behind those trades. Yes they are going to sign a lot of players.

Perhaps. Since we're speculating, let's give Mozeliak some credit. Maybe Buffa has been on the Cardinals' radar since his local days and once he showed his chops with the Stros the new regime snatched him up.
