yea the timing of barbashevs contract sucked for the cap implications. And Barbs was one of the only guys (kind of ROR but different) that Army publicly said he wasn't going to trade him for maximum value, but was going to send him to a spot for a chance to win. Whether you hate Army or Like him, you have to admit, doing a player a solid who gave your team everything he had and then priced him out of your market is about as first class as it gets. When you look at the ascension of barbs, it happened so quickly and bad timing that it caught the whole roster off guard. That 60 point season really F'd the Blues over but got Barbs a good bump. He hasn't replicated it since then but the 50 showed he can get there. Off to a hot start this season as well.
