Well, we're 8 points out of 1st place and 4 points out of a playoff spot through 11 games.

Our young guys looked good tonight. Looked like some of the vets were coming around later in the game as well.

Well if Holloway keeps playing like this one of our major problems is solved.

If Snuggy plays like this and Dvorsky holds his own, which he can, the offensive boosts are there because I think Kyrou is going to have a strong production year. If the team can just start to get strong goaltending it can balance out.

Mailloux, phenomenal game. two terrible penalties that immediately killed the momentum and a choice to go to the net that two seconds later was a breakaway the other way. He is a travesty at the moment but we have to have the travesty play because of the reasons that are so much reasons. He is a weak player for his size. Nobody is afraid of Logan Mailloux. Also Vitale praising Buchnevich for a "lethal" shot meekly into the glove was quite a thing, as Buchnevich is increasingly tough to take by the eye test.

Vancouver had basically a shorthanded AHL team and were completely outshot and I never had the feeling they weren't going to beat the Blues.

Also the Schenn thing was bad but remember when Marchand overstated the puck at center ice while slightly brushing it?

If Devo can continue somewhere near this level of play and Thomas comes back soon then it feels like the team (forwards+defense) will be more than ok.

Just a nauseating level of goaltending received this season. I didn’t see the 2nd goal but goals 1 and 3 were 100% on Binnington and he once again DID NOT make a SINGLE BIG TIME save this game. It took a lucky goaltending interference call that didn’t effect the shot to save us a point and Binnington letting up 4 goals on what 17 shots!!

I don’t think VAN got a shot in OT. Sherwood beats Binner/hits the post, Pettereon shoots directly into Binner’s blocker without him moving, and got Debrusk made it look like he scored on a pee-wee goalie

Blues looked afraid to attack in OT, kept circling back wanting to let someone else drive the net. Also during the game, the chaos in front of Binnington, where was this chaos from the Blues? I'm afraid the Blues need some size and snarl, which is why they are lacking confidence right now, and why they are entertaining Lucic. Unfortunately, I'm not sure he has enough left in the tank.

Yeah Schenn’s was a blunder, but Wideman is the undisputed all-timer. Marchand’s is probably the worst in the last few seasons.
