And off speed low and away. Listening to both SP on radio for tonight’s game said that is their plan. That is the MO of most SP in baseball in today’s game. I have to ask knowing this, why don’t hitters adjust and look for those 2 things? I can almost guarantee they see one of those 2 things. It it because today’s hitters are mistake hitters only and are looking for something in middle of plate? Seems like eliminating all but 2 locations would make it easier for hitters.

I’ve seen the videos of pitchers with them overlaid over themselves delivering different types of pitches and it’s uncanny how identical things look until the last moment when the ball breaks. I wonder if that isn’t a big part of it, particularly at the velocities many of these guys throw?
