Who will have the better season, offensively, in '26?

Wetherholt or Saggese. I see Saggese at around .275 BA, 12 HRs, 24 doubles, 56 RBIs. Will Wetherholt top that? I hope so.

Why Saggese of course. Genius Marmol will have him in the cleanup spot for 158 games. Meanwhile, he will have Wetherholt tied to the bench for days if he shows any indication of getting on a hot streak. Oli Ball at its best!!!!!!

Even if Wetherholt comes up hitting like an MVP it probably still wouldn’t matter. Teams will just start walking him knowing the likes of Sagesse, Noot, Gorman, Walker, Burleson, Scott, Winn or Pages won’t be driving him in. Contreras is getting old and Donovan will probably be gone too. We’ve got a real scrub roster. Not a single core player to build around. Wetherholt could end up with a .450 OBP from all the IBBs though!

Saggese won't come close to those numbers since he'll be sitting on the end of the bench most games (unless he's a trade toss in).

To even link his name to JJW is inane. ::crazya::

Cut to opening day, Saggese goes 0-4.

Shady: “Maybe I was wrong about Saggese.”
