The Yzerplan Was Openly A 10 Year Plan

Post by TheSolution »

The Blues made some terrible mistakes (ego driven) after the Cup.

They could have and should have held on as real contenders for years, continuing to build on that type of brut identity and should have done or at least come close to doing what the Panthers have done in the playoffs as brutal, no-mercy competitors.

What a lot of you forum users and Blues fans are missing is just how good the rest of the league is and just how many teams have been hiding in rebuild mode accumulating a level of talent not comprehended by the average forum Joe.

The Blues lied to you.

They chose to sell jerseys and beer while tricking you into thinking this thing could continue as actual contenders while hoping it wouldn’t get ugly and things would be good enough to keep the crowds.

This is blowing up and there isn’t a solution. There isn’t an answer.

Welcome to the season that will force them to make the decision to be honest with you.

They aren’t getting franchise changers in trades for guys like Kyrou.

The ONLY way to get on par with what these other teams have done patiently is to rebuild over many years if not an entire (bleep) decade.

The Blues did not lie to me or anyone else. That is patently absurd.

I've been following the Blues since their inception. I have no use for posts such as yours, nor to I agree with your opinions.

The Blues said the rebuild, or whatever (their words) is over.

They thought they could remain competitive enough, good enough to compete for playoff spots while knowing there’s teams on different dimensions in this league (now and trajectory as teams that have been bad are emerging on schedule).

This isn’t like the NL Central where things get better pretty quick with some good decisions and some money.

This is a league with a cap and a lot of parody.

Teams that have been accumulating extremely elite talent AND have one or even two of these extra special extremely elite players are now numbered and stacked in a way against he Blues that makes it totally and completely unrealistic to think they’re actual Cup contenders.

They wanted to sell jerseys and hype this year. Keep momentum going that from a data standpoint they still feel is prevalent in this city following the Cup win. New people came onboard with the Cup. And the existing fans elevated their love. They did not want to let the bottom drop out of that with an extended rebuild.

They actually nearly pulled something like this off (remaining competitive enough to excite fans) with Broberg/Holloway but then have made other mistakes that cancels that out.

I mean the Blues have won one series since winning the Cup and look to be average at best for the foreseeable future.

That’s not good nope

Well, you are a parody of yourself. And there is no parity on this forum with respect to you. You are supreme in your sophistry.
