Wow, that is a lot of moving parts. Why not merge the two leagues? XFL and UFL?Last week, the league said it was moving teams away from Memphis, San Antonio, and Detroit. Those three teams will now be the Orlando Storm, Louisville Kings, and Columbus Aviators, the league told Front Office Sports on Tuesday.
Additionally, the Houston Roughnecks are changing their name to the Gamblers, and the Arlington Renegades will now be known as the Dallas Renegades. The Houston Gamblers were a team in the old USFL, and Orlando is the only new city to previously have a team. The Orlando Renegades played one season in the previous iteration of the USFL in 1985.
Will the UFL Collapse and Fold This Offseason or Next?

Re: Will the UFL Collapse and Fold This Offseason or Next?
Overall television ratings and attendance went down in most markets (with the exception of the Michigan Panthers, who made substantial gains), which prompted the firings of ticket sales directors and vice presidents of business operations in Arlington, Houston and Birmingham, three of the UFL's most consistently under performing markets.
On October 3, 2025, the UFL announced that the Michigan Panthers, Memphis Showboats and San Antonio Brahmas would not return for the 2026 season.
On October 7, 2025, the UFL announced their new teams for the 2026 season; the Columbus Aviators (playing at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio), the Louisville Kings (playing at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky) and the Orlando Storm (playing at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida).
They are also going to gravitate to territorial rights for the draft (college players) - stay tuned for exactly how that would work.

Declining TV ratings is the biggest concern and moving to smaller venues and smaller cities will not help. Every business tries to cut costs and downsize before going under.acco40 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 13:14 pm Overall television ratings and attendance went down in most markets (with the exception of the Michigan Panthers, who made substantial gains), which prompted the firings of ticket sales directors and vice presidents of business operations in Arlington, Houston and Birmingham, three of the UFL's most consistently under performing markets.

Actually, don’t answer that. I’m sure I can guess without much effort…

The Battlehawks thing is just part of his STL obsession. He likes to pretend that STL fans really think that the XFL is the equivalent to the NFL, when nobody has ever said anything close. He's delusional.BleedingBleu wrote: ↑10 Dec 2025 21:01 pmIt’s genuinely unfathomable. The 49er thing is even better. He's a supposed Rams fan that hates the 49ers. Yet whenever the 49ers played the Chiefs in the Super Bowl a few years ago, he posted that he was cool with the 49ers winning since they are from California. So this poser for years claims to be some huge Rams fan that hates the 9ers (as any self respecting Rams fan would), but his hatred for STL is so strong that he would rather see the 9ers win a Super Bowl just because the Chiefs are in Missouri. He is absolutely nuts with his STL obsession.

Could you imagine rooting for the Cubs to win the Pennant because the Hawks moved to Atlanta and they’re playing the Braves!? Unreal.
Now he wants an entire league to fail simply because there’s a team from St Louis? Truly, this person is disturbed and probably needs to be on a government list… you know, if he’s not already.
Re: Will the UFL Collapse and Fold This Offseason or Next?
Bingo. I made the Cubs analogy to him as well. He tried to backtrack it when he realized how stupid he looked. He's not the smartest sports fan. One time I posted a graphic from an article that was talking about the worst homefield advantage in pro sports, and it had teams like the LA Rams, Arizona Coyotes and New Orleans Pelicans near the top. He told me that I made it up because the Coyotes and the Pelicans were fake teams. The dude is nuts.BleedingBleu wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 09:46 amLOL, hasn’t it been a decade!? He was always one of the worst trolls on the NFL board. When it came to trolling, he tried way too hard….and his football knowledge in general was brutal. All 5 of those clowns that inhabited that forum are beyond worthless human beings.

The Flighting Stanks have been competitive, right? I mean, I’ve lost track of them mostly, but I thought they were at least getting some plays going their way and were regularly competitive.ChiefSTL wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 07:47 amBingo. I cannot understand what vendetta would have this person so committed to harassing Battlehawks fans. That said, imagine not knowing who the Coyotes or Pelicans are while trying to convince Battlehawks fans of the certain demise of their league.
Too funny.
