Let’s take a minute to Give thanks to Batoon and the D Staff
Missouri moved from 53rd to 20th in Batoon’s first year and is now sitting in the 5th spot heading into the bye week. Plus the recruiting his team has done in both the transfer portal and with high schoolers is keeping the pipeline full.

Program gets an A in commanding the portal and getting productive players.
That was the goal in playing a complementary style of football and the defense to this point has delivered.
Hopefully that pipeline will continue with the onset of Zoellers soon becoming a fixture at QB enhancing play at that position needed to get where this program where it wants to go.

Good point. There was about 10 of us that hung around in Nashville and the main “bar talk” was does Zoellers open up more pull for elite high school and portal WRs? Olugbode and Zoellers could be something special.11WSChamps wrote: ↑26 Oct 2025 13:34 pm Program gets an A in commanding the portal and getting productive players.

I believe albeit prematurely we've seen the beginning of the Zoeller's era at MU.rezero wrote: ↑26 Oct 2025 14:05 pmGood point. In less than half of football you could see the difference of night and day in him and Pribula.
He can't be getting a lot of reps in practice but he just has that cliched "it" factor.

Defense was stellar. Offense sputtered for whatever reason. Might chalk up a return of Winstonology, which old timers are well aware of as being Sir Winston's curse. Whenever MU is about to do something special it rears up and sets the Tigers back one more time. Kind of like that UCLA layup.

D is solid and continues to improve. Batoon MU D way better than what's over in Baton Rouge.

Blake Baker will be looking for a job when Kelly gets axed. Which will be coming soon.

We should bring Baker back as DB coach under Batoon.
