...sure looks like Vandy's Singh grabbed BP's foot and twisted it trying to break something.

you're right. he was hugging BP's foot and turning his body weight with it

That’s actually great news. Was worried the kid had a terrible injury that might have ended his career. The way he was being held and the pile fell back his leg could have snapped.

Sounds like there’s a chance he could be back before the end of the season.

Torn ligaments is minimum 6 weeks healing time plus a couple weeks rehab to get the calf muscle back in shape. This comes from personal experience.

Lot depends upon high ankle/low ankle.

You may recall Nebraska’s Suh injuring Blaine Gabbert with a hip-drop tackle, which is now illegal (in the NFL anyway).
