That’s actually great news. Was worried the kid had a terrible injury that might have ended his career. The way he was being held and the pile fell back his leg could have snapped.

From a healing perspective, a clean bone break is less injurious to torn ligaments, tendons and muscles. A medical team will make their finding public today or tomorrow.

Torn ligaments is minimum 6 weeks healing time plus a couple weeks rehab to get the calf muscle back in shape. This comes from personal experience.
