On Wednesday NCAA made a decisions that effective November 1st, 2025, NCAA athletes can now bet on professional sports. The timing feels a little suspicious coming out of the major betting scheme blowup and the NBA arrests. The Feds are in the midst of a 2 year investigation into college betting issues, so it almost makes me think they caught some blue blood programs and wanted to get this out before they release their report. The ones who simply bet on pro sports will probably get a slap in the wrist, but never know if there is more brewing.
