Exactly. If he gets another inning or mere outs from Kirby, maybe me doesn’t go to Bazardo, straight to Munoz.

I believe your original point was abundantly proven last night.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑21 Oct 2025 09:39 amExactly. If he gets another inning or mere outs from Kirby, maybe me doesn’t go to Bazardo, straight to Munoz.

I thought so to. That’s why my first intent was- dam they did it again.Melville wrote: ↑21 Oct 2025 09:47 amI believe your original point was abundantly proven last night.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑21 Oct 2025 09:39 amExactly. Boy, if we think the pitching changes were questionable last night, wait til the World Series.
Whether it’s in the booth , the postgame analysis shows with firmer All Stars Hall of Famers, the 2nd guessing is rampant and at an all-time high.

You say rampant and at an all time high. Then it is true as well, that there are many complaints. Then just as likely some will bear fruit.
So there is some truth here.

Situation last night. Sixth inning. Snell bases loaded, no out. He’s pulled. I think any one of us agree.
But after his removal, 9 runs, three charged to him. Had Snell stayed in, do they score nine. Probably not.
But who would have taken that chance.

3 get on with 0 outs, heavy hitters coming up, it’s time to pull him.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025 09:22 am Situation last night. Sixth inning. Snell bases loaded, no out. He’s pulled. I think any one of us agree.

The BP just had to limit the damage, but couldn’t.
I think the comparison to the thread would have been more valid if someone else had started the 6th. But we’ll never know

Like Yamamoto tonight .. starts 9th inning with pitch count of 94 ....
Sure he is a bit tired but has 4 run lead and doesn't appear to have lost his command . So Roberts going to ride that horse to the finish line !
NOTE: Game over Yamamoto becomes first Dodger pitcher to complete back to back postseason games since 1988 Orel Hersheiser
Sounds like 37 years to me !
Now he can make it a trifecta next time he starts .

Doubt if they worry about pitch counts in Japan.

Fret illustration of my intent. Had They pulled Yama, and runs score, a travesty. They didn’t. And it worked out fine.ramfandan wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025 21:45 pm Like Yamamoto tonight .. starts 9th inning with pitch count of 94 ....

Re: The Pulling of a Hot Starting Pitcher
Obviously the Japanese pitcher is more mentally tough than the American Boys……they’ve been brainwashed and coddled to think they need to be pulled around 6 innings……All mentalsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑26 Oct 2025 06:02 amFret illustration of my intent.
