To everyone that is critical of the play calling you have to remember that is all that our quarter backs could handle for the last 5 years. Not enough talent to use a full playbook. If Zollers has burnt up his redshirt Drink should be fired if Beau moves back in front of him. He actually looks and plays like a quarterback

Zollers is a much better QC than Pribula. He was better in high school, better passer, more composed, etc… With more reps with first team and more time to prepare to start he will be very good. If Pribula wants to play, he needs to be going back in the portal. The job is now Zollers to lose.

When you pay a transfer $1M they are going to play. Coaches, booster, etc… all have ego on the line when you shell out that kind of money. The only way Zollers gets playing time was if Pribula was disastrous or gets hurt.

Very much like the NFL. The money guy is “QB1” for the season even if he’s ineffective. The coach will lose with an ineffective QB before he’ll sideline the guy with the big paycheck. I despise that way of thinking but it is what it is.

That said I don’t know what Zollers is getting paid. Whatever it is, looks like it’s worth it.

I agree with this. Zoller is the better qb. But BP will be back when he recovers, unless it’s season ending surgery.
