Rookie Scoring(calder watch)

Post by TampaBlues78 »

I just wanted to start basically a Jimmy scoring watch and other just to see how he stacks up and keep track of top rookies
So I will provide top rookie scoring as of right now and my opinion of what I have seen so far.

Rank Name G A Total
1. Matthew Schaeffer NYI 1 4 5
2. Emmit Finnie Det 2 3 5
3. Zeev Buium Min 1 4 5
4. Ivan Demidov Mtl 1 4 5
5. Jimmy Snuggy Stl 3 1 4
6. Beckett Senniecke Ana 2 2 4
7. Alexander Nikishin Car 1 3 4
8. Oliver Kapanen Mtl 4 4

That is the top 8 in scoring Snuggy is 2nd in goals with 3.
He does look to be the real deal. Lets hope he gets hot and takes it home.

So far Snuggs has provided a well rounded 200 ft game not sure about the rest any info on the others would be helpful

My guess is Demidov takes it...Montreal is a much more talented offensive team than the Blues.

Smaller market team with limited coverage. Bottom line is he will truly have to stand out from the rest

I know in the two Mtl games I watched so far, I know is a far cry for the whole season so far. The games I saw he didn’t do much. Name wasn’t called much at all. Not saying that’s an indication. Just know our boy at least has been evident in every game

I’ve watched every game and he’s creating and making big time plays

With EDM off to a slow start and Calgary showing who they are when their goalie doesn’t steal most of their wins MTL is now your team?

What happened to Bolduc…..no points since his first 3 games?

I’ve never really liked the Flames and yeah I cheered for the Oilers over other teams in the playoffs.

I’m interested in the Habs this year yup.

Amazing player…he drives the play when he’s on ice. When it clicks for him, he’s gonna start piling up the points. I’ve watched every Montreal game and I’m more impressed every time I see him.

Agreed.

If given a choice to have any player on that 8 team list, who ya’ll taking? Give me Alexander Nikishin, I think he’s gonna be a badazs stud in a couple years.

Edit: I actually meant any of the 7 players listed. Snuggerud dont count since he’s like…already here.
