Good game, but we just could not overcome Kirby Moore’s play calling. First and goal at 10. First play a run up middle for 8 by Hardy. Next 3 plays Moore never tries to just pound the ball over the goal line. The entire first half was just bad play calling as we did not even commit to run until the third quarter. Just horrible play calling.

I will say it again, I have no idea why a good WR would ever come to Mizzou with Moore as OC.

...Vandy #27 should have been called for pass interference...he had Coleman by the collar. Game can't end on a penalty...Mizzou should have gotten 1 more play... Exciting game... lotta highs and lows here...

Another game that we just fall short of. One of these days we are going to win one of these “have to win” games. The defense gave us everything they had. I truly believe that Mizzou is the better team but the score is the only thing that matters.

The good thing is we might have found our quarterback. Zollers sure didn’t look like the game was to big for him.
