The internet has disproportionately amplified the voices of miserable people. I'm disappointed in the start the team has had, but I have faith in the players and the coaching staff to get things turned around.

I can't get too angry with the trolls and "fans" who thrive on negativity (not talking about legitimate, reasonable criticism or thoughtful posts). Those people are unhappy enough already, and nothing posted in an internet forum is gonna make them feel any worse than they already do.

I agree with both you guys. I always draw on my experience in athletics. I don't start to worry until you see people disinterested. That locker room isn't lost. They aren't really saying bad things. Monty's post game is pretty spot on yesterday where he was like "you saw me (upset) last time because I wasn't happy. Today is a different story, we responded after a bad start and we played good hockey. I'm just bummed in regards to Hofer".

These are things that the message is clear. The team is listening. The players want it. The first game is the only real total dissapointment. That was uninspired offense and leaky defense and Binner is better than 2 of those 5. After that it's 2 games where Hofer is trash so you have no idea what you are getting, and a slow start Kings game where they finally woke up in the 3rd and had a chance to win but was too late.

Asog they are lacking "Start" Power. All that is true that you mentioned. Too late to correct it to Star power. Team is good enough to compete.

I think the team will come around but I also get the sense that a deal is in the works too. Just a hunch.

Well said. This team will find its groove at some point, going to be a bit of a mess for a while but hopefully not so long that they don't make the playoffs. I'm guessing that by the time spring gets here this team will again be playing some (bleep) good hockey. LGB!!
