They cannot shoehorn Mailloux into a top three d pairing at this point. This game exemplifies why they miss the presence of a suter or leddy in the bottom pair.

Why does Keller hate his hometown team this much!?!?!

Dude has to be averaging close to 2 ppg against STL throughout his career. I HATE that guy!

Unless of course they believe it will lead to developing the best iteration of this team by midseason.

Blues need some serious help on defense and goal keeping. I noticed that Monty kept Bugs and Mailloux on the bench most of the 2nd and 3rd periods. I expect to see those two sit for a few.

Hey Vitale...they were within ONE goal, not two. What game are you watching? Jesus.

I really don't think many people here can see the forest for the trees. It's very weird.

Only to have to rely on a 10 game winning streak to get into playoff contention? Weber seemed to get the message that the best iteration in the second and third was limiting their iceteam and double shiftng broberg and faulk.

Well, they found a pulse, better late thzn never I suppose. Good to have Sunny back, but now they have a backup goaltender problem and some PP issues. They need to get some one-timers set up on the PP. They have Snuggy's big shot, they need to use it.

Well that was disappointing. This team has some issues.
Hofers Swiss cheese. That 5 hole goal was awful.
The offense took to long to get going tonight. They had 5 shots midway through the game. Yuck!
PP was terrible. Buch and Kyrou act like they've never passed a puck before. To quick with the hot potato.
The D was pretty weak all night too.

Answer this: what is the forest?

In three years, assume Mailloux has “developed”. What player is he? What’s his player comp?

And for anyone who says “we don’t know yet”, then what a stupid [fork]ing gamble.

I thought LM looked decent, not sure i can pen the goals against on him i wish Monty would just run with the D pairs.

Harry, so did I. He’ll be fine once he settles down and gets a little confidence. He’s big, skates really well, tough, and has a good shot……it’s all there if he settles down and plays his game.
