Big Game for Top Prospects Today - Springfield

Post by seattleblue »

Stancl scored from the slot
Then a very nice play by Skinner to go right to the net and get rewarded with the goal
Then a beauuuuutiful pass by Stenberg to Luff for a goal
Dvorsky scored a PP goal
Stenberg just drew a PP near the end of the second that Lindstein scored on after quarterbacking it

Stancl's first goal, Lindstein's, Stenberg looks awesome, Dvorsky keeps rolling, Skinner looking good. 5-1 after 2

Really strong performances. They lost 5-1 to the same team yesterday but it was basically 3-1 with two ENGs. this was concurrent to Blues so I didn't see it. but today's game has been a really good one, Springfield about to break a nine year losing streak at Hershey. (btw these Capitals prospects are going to keep that team good for a bit.)

I posted this when there was another thread for Saturday's game, didn't see one for last night's game which I watched

Big positives are absolutely Lindstein and Stenberg. They both look very good. Stenberg is playing it all - PP, PK, even strength. Rung one off the post. Lindstein had a strong game Saturday and scored and during the course of yesterday's game was promoted to run PP1. What really stands out to me is his physicality, he is ramping it up. It's not a huge part of the SHL game but I loved Lindstein's game last night.

Now, the PP last night was exceptionally atrocious. they went 0-for 8 and lost 3-0 with an ENG. Romanov was actually their best player as he was in the 5-1 loss that had 2 ENGs. The team as a whole looks awful but the key guys are what matters. Dvorsky had an off game. He had a couple chances early, they had 13 shots in the first but then the second period shriveled up to nothing. Despite getting PP after PP, it was horrible. Lindstein did his part well. Alexandrov was completely brutal in this game, he made poor play after poor play. Stancl was not in the lineup after scoring Saturday so I assume he is dinged up. Skinner looks decent. Buchinger was also not in the lineup. Oh, and Pekarcik had a golden chance early and looked good in this game overall.

Stancl got hit hard towards the end of the game Saturday. I was also impressed with Lindstein that game, he through a partial hip check that game. Stenberg I’ve been impressed every time I watch.

Yeah no problem. Your boy looks fast at the pro level, really encouraging. I'll watch Fri/Sat too this week

I see the way he has progressed and his skating looks really good. What has surprised me, a bit, is his shooting. His shot looks really good. His passing has always been stellar. Again, always appreciate your updates.

Appreciate the update, Seattle. Any thoughts on Dvorsky's play overall in the first few games of the season? He's been pretty quiet on the scoresheet I see (1g, 0a in four games). Small sample size so far but just wondering if he's look off, etc. Thanks!
