LOL!a smell of green grass wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 17:42 pm Here is what I think is particularly concerning about what was said...
1) The problems with the "team culture/team competitiveness/team fight/team professionalism" are back. Picture January 2025 again.
That would be bad enough. However, it's worse.
2) Those problems have possibly now spilled over Snuggerud. Is Snuggie just one more lego in the ugly sculpture now? And that, Sports Fans, is uber-concerning.

Those comments could be said about everyone on the team, except Bennington.Galatians221jb1 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 10:14 am https://x.com/stlouisblues/status/19808 ... 33391?s=46
Here’s the comment. Six minute video. Snuggs comment at the very last. “He wasn’t skating, he wasn’t checking, it wasn't his night…”

He'll probably tell his dad to come pick him up and take him back to Minnesota and wait for a trade.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 11:54 am Snuggerud comes from a good hockey family. He won’t need much hand holding, and if he doesn’t respond well (I don’t see that happening), I’m guessing his dad will be on a plane and give the kid a kick in the backside
Re: Monty very critical of Snuggs last night
I wouldn't call it a big deal. Unless we see a change in Snuggs line.
Considering STL sports media is more blues media. I wonder Why the question was asked about Snuggs personally. Was it coaching to publicly call snuggs out. I'd answer by changing that over to, 'the whole team not skating, ext.
and kept issues with a individuals inside the locker room. More so with a rookie.
I think what happens with Snuggs next game will explain this seemingly innocent comment. But this kinda looks familiar to me. Critique the kid. When the grinding Vet with a contract, comes back. It's a
modern tradition in the Lou.
I guess, We will see.

They won't because Monty and Army think this is a Cup contender team held back by the younger players.AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 18:11 pm so when are we going to see older/top line players, not pulling their weight, lose minutes, get called out and sit.

When will he call out Fowler...dude has been a no-show this season. The contract is already smelling like spoiled milk

All I am saying is Monty say whatever he wants, he is the coach.

We all need to be aware of the customized prospect handling.
Bolduc was on a short leash.
Snuggerrud is on a choker collar.
Mailloux is the coach’s kid. His failure is the coach’s failure now. He will be running free, peeing on all our bushes without rebuke.

Yep, Bolduc got in Monty's dog house with a couple of penalties that didn't need to be taken against the Jets. He was as good as gone after that.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 22:58 pm We all need to be aware of the customized prospect handling.

Binnington skates quite well when he comes out to play the puck. And everyone knows he can lay out a check if need be!sdaltons wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 20:24 pmBINNINGTON wasn't skating or checking either, palrightthinker4 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:28 pmThose comments could be said about everyone on the team, except Bennington.Galatians221jb1 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 10:14 am https://x.com/stlouisblues/status/19808 ... 33391?s=46

It's bad enough that some of the agendized knucklehead posters here have limited understanding of the game (likely did not play at a very high level), but they are the last people you would want to receive leadership lessons from.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 12:48 pm This place is downright insane after a loss. Monty was blunt but fair last night. Said the whole team didn’t start on time. He’s not wrong. When asked why Snuggy only had one shift in the 3rd he gave an honest answer. I’m sure Snuggy will respond.
Teams go through this. Not uncommon at all. Monty is trying to up the competitiveness and accountability. I have no issues with anything he said postgame last night.

Re: Monty very critical of Snuggs last night
Agreed. I actually think Fowler has been ok. How about sitting Buch for a game. Zero goals, loses most board battles, horrible decision making on pass vs shoot, single-handedly blew the game in OT with missing on a semi-breakaway and then taking a lazy penalty to give the Kings the PP winner. He’s been one of our worst players this season. Sit him a game.smilinjoefission wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 20:29 pmThey won't because Monty and Army think this is a Cup contender team held back by the younger players.AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 18:11 pm so when are we going to see older/top line players, not pulling their weight, lose minutes, get called out and sit.
