Willis Crenshaw

For all you old Big Red fans and since there is no longer a pro football forum I thought I would put it here.
Former Big Red running back Willis Crenshaw has passed away. #33 was a very capable running back for the Cardinals in his years in St. Louis.

I remember Willis. In 1968 he rushed for 813 yards and 7 touchdowns, leading the Big Red in both stats. That would have been the Card's second season in Busch II. They, of course , played at Sportsman's Park prior to 1967, where my family had 3 season tickets under the left field scoreboard. We took a covered wagon from Kirkwood to North St. Louis on game days.
