Bolduc on PP1

Re: Bolduc on PP1
Not to mention someone on here used to really talk about ice time a lot and he was 10th in forward ice time with only 10 and change and 13 shifts even with the PP time and he's a minus player on a +6 team. Some forwards had twice as many shifts.
This is no knock on Bolduc. I think he's a nice player, but it will be a while before we truly know the outcome of the trade. For the short term, the Canadiens have the more useful player.

He scored an anybody can make this shot alone in the slot.
I guess they are expecting a Brett Hull career out of him???
Bolduc is legit and so is his shot.
Why don't the Blues get someone in the slot alone to score some goals if it's so easy?
Well the two guys who were also in the conversation of being dealt were most likely Neighbours (4 goals) and Snuggerud (3) goals. The Blues were not going to be trading Holloway, Thomas, Kyrou, Schenn or Buch to keep Bolduc, sooo.......
Re: Bolduc on PP1
Since Dach when out he's been paired with Veleno. Not that Dach was lighting it up. Bolduc has been a good addition to their PP, where he has half of his goals there.ChooseBlues wrote: ↑23 Oct 2025 09:08 amHe is still scoring more than anyone not named Neighbours on the Blues. I imagine once Dach gets back he'll replace Veleno. It'll be interesting if they pair him again with Dach again and/or how they move around the Evans line (3rd line), which is only doing OK.

So how many of these azzhat ID's do you think he is?icon wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 22:48 pmHe's lonely and funny without even knowing why he's funny. Or what kind of funny.DUFF8989 wrote: ↑16 Oct 2025 19:49 pm Are you lonely? We know you’re lonely. It’s okay.
So I hear this place called Mama Mel’s has a killer Detroit style pizza. Can anyone vouch? Think I’m gonna try it with some friends and family this weekend but likely need to bring it back to the house cause I hear the dine in option may be limited. I’m glad to have people I care about and care about me around me, otherwise I might talk too and repeat myself.

Slapping them around is always good for a laugh.

Sooo.....You go ahead and overpay? You do realize that Army didn't have to make the trade right?Harry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Oct 2025 10:48 amChooseBlues wrote: ↑23 Oct 2025 09:08 amHe is still scoring more than anyone not named Neighbours on the Blues. Is that how you feel about Snuggerud and his slipping?
Logan Mailloux not even dressed. Can't get a grip much less slip.

But as you know the situations aren't the same are they kinda a [nonsense] reply right? How many NHL games does Bolduc have vs Snuggerud remember when Bolduc was mentioned as a Calder guy? I don't. Snuggy is 21 and LM is 22ChooseBlues wrote: ↑23 Oct 2025 15:13 pm Is that how you feel about Snuggerud and his slipping?

Bolduc isn't that good 5v5 yet he tends to lose focus and drift around he has a lethal release on the PP though. I'm sure Bolduc will round into form with more experience

Snuggerud is 21, Mailloux is 22, and Bolduc is also 22. Maybe you were trying to make a point there — who could tell?Harry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Oct 2025 15:33 pmBut as you know the situations aren't the same are they kinda a [nonsense] reply right? Bolduc broke into the league at a younger age than the other 2. Maybe that should offset the more games played.
You accuse Bolduc of slipping, even though he’s been playing bottom-six minutes and still outscoring Snuggerud despite reduced ice time.
Then you claim that the same criticism doesn’t apply to Snuggerud, even though he’s been moved from the first line down to the third. Even funnier is that you think calling Snuggerud the better player and a Calder candidate — while also noting he’s played fewer games — somehow exempts him from being categorized as slipping.
Snuggerud was on the first line. He’s not on the first line now. Maybe it’s you that’s slipping.
Looks like you’re the one with the bull[shirt] reply. Right?
I’m sure Bolduc and Snuggerud will both benefit from more experience. But LM hasn’t even shown he can stick in the NHL.
Re: Bolduc on PP1
I just don't get how posters can make the claims of a bust or a definition of how a young inexperienced player is going to turn out in any defining way.
And for the life of me I don't know why such comments are even made.
I heard it all here over the years. Barbs and Dunn and Mikko and Walman....yep this kind of stuff said many times when they came up.
Something to consider.
