I hope they roll with these for quite a while and give them a real chance.
I think many thought we would compete for the cup. I'm pretty sure threads are still in board saying so.
Even after the bolduc(scored again) trade many were clinging on to competing. The first I heard about a 'couple years, was just a day or two ago. True more so since Mailx got found out. But crazy acting like anyone thought we were/are still building.

On topic. Glad to see Mailx back in the game Almost rather have him line up with Parayko.

Ive personally never had any luck weakening every position to fill 1 hole. Ive tried it a few times and it has not gone well.

Worth a shot I guess but it really doesn't make much sense to me to not just fill the hole considering all else that is invested and the relatively ease of filling the hole. .

This is obviously the correct answer. But it seems the blues believe in both Tucker and Mailloux and want them both on the team.

This is fine.

They need to shake up the entire team and get some different looks. At least this coach is not afraid to mix stuff up. Berube never did that.

Lol if people saw a team that only made the playoffs because of an historic win streak, only almost beat the president's trophy winner because of a goalie who made Shaky Jakey look like Glenn Hall, then had a relatively quiet offseason...and they thought this team would be Cup bound...ummmm...not sure they can be helped.

Mailloux needs to come out early tomorrow night and drop the gloves with Crouse.

I think 40 games each would be just fine.

I think Fowler Mailloux makes a lot of sense right now and Broberg is the #1 LHD whether its today or soon anyway. Im anxious to see Mailloux get going will he tussle with O Brien? That would raise LMs stock a bit

I'd be good with that. But from I heard, Suter was unsure if he wanted to come back. That was back in June, so I don't know what the status is now or if he's even in game shape. But if he could do what he did last year, I'd be all for it.
