Kyrou on the PK
He’s no Hossa, but why not. Start small. His reads and awareness have been better. I’d like to see it. Would like his speed and it would help confidence further. Wouldnt hurt the trade value either getting him more involved. Guy is playing 15 minutes some nights…while I get to see the great Buchnevich with 20.

I think its coming. He is getting more late game minutes with the lead too. He cant be timid on the pk tho. Im not sure if hes cut from that cloth but id like to find out.theograce wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 17:53 pm He’s no Hossa, but why not. Start small. His reads and awareness have been better. You would think buch was allergic to open ice. Everytime he gets the puck he is getting rode. Hes back to not being able to finish.

Let's see if that 1 good game this season can turn into a dozen in a row...then we can think about it.
Re: Kyrou on the PK
Hope so. It’s the right move to give it a go I think on multiple levelsYounghopp1991 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 17:56 pmI think its coming.theograce wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 17:53 pm He’s no Hossa, but why not. Yeah keep pumping Buch’s tires with important roles because he’s just so good. Makes senseMr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 18:00 pm Let's see if that 1 good game this season can turn into a dozen in a row...then we can think about it.

I believe kyrou is definitely the type of person to google his name or check a forum. His offseason regiment is always appealing to the eye test yearly. If kyrou wants responsibility im all for it. We need a change up.theograce wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 18:01 pmHope so. You’re right in that Kyrou has to want it. Anyone worth keeping on your team wants it though.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 18:07 pmI believe kyrou is definitely the type of person to google his name or check a forum. Re: Kyrou on the PK
And I mean Buchnevich has fewer blocks despite getting PK time.
Re: Kyrou on the PK
Totally agree. Back in the day people thought it was crazy when Hull started killing penalties.theograce wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 17:53 pm He’s no Hossa, but why not. Start small. Re: Kyrou on the PK
Kyrou killing penalties would be a disaster. He's too timid and isn't skilled in the art of shot blocking.
He would have a broken foot, ankle or deflect a puck into his own melon within 5 games.

That was the cool thing about hull and guys like him. They are fierce competitors and want in on all that action/responsibility.fish wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:20 pmTotally agree. Kyrou has abilities that that could really help with momentum. He’s dynamic. They should be looking to expand on that…whether it works or not long term
Re: Kyrou on the PK
Well he has more shot blocks than buchnevich over the past several years and Buch gets more ice and all the pk.Mr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:26 pm Kyrou killing penalties would be a disaster. He's too timid and isn't skilled in the art of shot blocking.
Now what?
Re: Kyrou on the PK
Yeah, it's kind of funny the OP is always pointing out guys he thinks play scared -- like Snuggerud and Broberg. But Kyrou, who vanished after a bone-crushing hit in the Jets series, gets a free pass. Wonder why? I know. The first 2 are American and Swedish, and the 3rd is Canadian.Mr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:26 pm Kyrou killing penalties would be a disaster. It’s like you’re angry that humans get scared in certain situations.icon wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:45 pmYeah, it's kind of funny the OP is always pointing out guys he thinks play scared -- like Snuggerud and Broberg. He shouldn't be out there killing penalties either. He's too dumb and clumsy.theograce wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:40 pmWell he has more shot blocks than buchnevich over the past several years and Buch gets more ice and all the pk.Mr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 19:26 pm Kyrou killing penalties would be a disaster.
