OT: Is Jackson Arnold 'damaged goods'?
Watching the MU v AU game it appeared that AU QB Arnold was all that he was hyped to be coming out of TX as Nat'l Gatorade POY - the arm talent was clearly there. Then Q4 came along and it appeared as though Arnold's glass slippers disappeared and it was a repeat of sorts of last years OU v MU game with MU's Havoc totally having Arnold stare down the rush vs going through progressions or pulling the ball in and running. That's been the rap on Arnold now - he stares at the pass rush as though he has PTSD. It happened big time in OT. It appears Arnolds psyche is damaged, and that damage happened at OU. OU got rid of their damaged goods to AU it seems. Normally damaged goods come at a steep discount, but not for AU. Arnold is currently ranked last in the SEC for QB's.

Jack, since you seem to really care about him, you can send flowers in care of eh Auburn Athletics Department a long with a get well soon note.
Re: OT: Is Jackson Arnold 'damaged goods'?
I just posted this in another thread but we have a 4th quarter defense that dominates the game. Our depth is keeping our DL fresh while the opposing OLine is worn down. Arnold was just the latest victim of this.
Re: OT: Is Jackson Arnold 'damaged goods'?
As mentioned in another thread, he sucks.

Auburn's latest desperation move to find a QB.

He’s had an up and down career. To be fair this year, their 1st 4 SEC games were just brutal. He’d honestly probably do very well at a Mid Major but I don’t know that he can play at the highest level, especially with Auburn’s bad pass protection.

You got that half right...

Don't you have to be good at one time to be damaged goods?

Jackson Arnold, Avery Johnson, Nico however you spell it.
The trifecta of QBs whose fan bases told us they would be awesome for a whole year while they were backups and then were immediately proven to be overhyped.
Arch Manning, another recent inductee to the club.
Oldest cliche in the book, screaming for the backup.
