Mailloux is now the Coach's kid
Amazing how the narrative is shifting regarding Mailloux..
At the trade...
Blues expect him to make the NHL roster immediately.
After less than a week in the NHL...
Blues expect him to stay on the NHL roster once they season him up. Expect a "long game".
The reputation of Army and Montgomery and Pronger is now at stake with Mailloux. It's going to get ugly, Sports fans. Mailoux is now the coach's kid.
In May, Bolduc and the other prospects were on very public "SHORT LEASH".

Bumping your own threads now since no one would respond to your stupidity? The Blues now have one of the deepest pools of prospects in the NHL and yet you failed to mention 90% of those names. Those guys don’t fit with your agenda apparently?

Bolduc was a healthy scratch for several games in his rookie season.

Who is more irritated?
A) BluesTalkers seeing my post "bumped"
B) Monty seeing Mailloux on the bench and needing to play him' otherwise Army looks bad
C) Blues fans watching Bolduc skyrocket
D) Blues Prospects on a SHORT leash watching Mailloux on a LONG leash

If neither player amounts to much, fans won't care.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑20 Oct 2025 13:50 pm Lol, the Blues dont give F's what anyone thinks about Mailloux or their trade
However, Lou Brock was traded by the Cubs to the Cardinals in early 1960s because the Cubs had "surplus in their outfield", and now Brock is in the HOF.
Fans remember.

Prongs: "Maybe he’s a defensive-defenseman, he kills penalties, he plays tough and he plays hard. All of that is unknown. We’re looking at an unknown commodity because he hasn’t played. He’s played 12 f--king NHL games! And one season in the AHL. It is all really new. You’re painting with a blank canvas because he hasn’t played in any league very long, so you really don’t know what he can or can’t be because it’s all right there. So really it’s just a matter of blocking out the noise and just put the f--king work boots on and getting to work and start trying to figure out what you want, how good you want to be and what are you going to do to get there.”

None of we fans care if Bolduc succeeds in Frenchyland. The overwhelming majority wish him well, except when playing the Blues.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑20 Oct 2025 14:07 pmIf neither player amounts to much, fans won't care.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑20 Oct 2025 13:50 pm Lol, the Blues dont give F's what anyone thinks about Mailloux or their trade

And most of we fans are not seekers of immediate satisfaction, unlike you. Yes, we want our team to do well but tanking is not the answer. Thank goodness we are not like you.We have faith in management, we also possess patience.

Hmmm. Do you care if your GM is competent at evaluating player talent and potential?Aesa wrote: ↑20 Oct 2025 14:21 pmNone of we fans care if Bolduc succeeds in Frenchyland.
