1. Their game was in Bama. Ours was in Columbia.
2. We had two weeks to get ready for Bama while Vandy had the usual one week.
3. I watched the both games, and Vandy looked better in their Bama game than we have either against Bama or Auburn.

Two things can be true.

1) Mizzou got the win, which is the most important thing at the end of the day.

2)They made it way harder on themselves than it had to be because of poor coaching decisions, poor discipline, and poor execution that will (and already has) cost them games.

The end of the final drive of regulation and the 1st OT in particular were both master classes in what not to do when you just need a fg for a win.

I’m happy Mizzou won and everything is still in front of them. But if you watched last night’s game and can’t understand why people would be upset by a few things then you are simply the antithesis of the people you’re calling out here. Being overly negative and over the top about every missed opportunity is dumb. Burying your head in the sand and ignoring every wart to cheer lead is dumb. Or uneducated, if you prefer.

Wins and losses are one thing, but here’s what I’m curious about — how much did Vanderbilt actually spend on the new stadium upgrades, what’s the head coach’s salary, and how much are they putting into NIL deals?

Are they getting better results with less money? At the end of the day, it’s all business.

and I'm not sure he even watched the Bama/Vandy and Mizzou/Bama games - both teams basically lost by around 10 points each if you take away the garbage time TDs

Furthermore, although I did attend and graduate from Mizzou in the mid-90s, I don't think you have to have attended Mizzou to be a fan. I mean I never played for the Cardinals and I am a Cardinals fan. There must be a reason that you felt like my post was directed at you. Sometimes the mirror hurts us I guess. Have a good day.
