Fastballs

Post by Dewey Kuey »

Ran across this video I've never seen before. Had some interesting parts about pitchers and fastballs.
They talk with a lot of pitchers. Gibson, Verelander, Gossage, Chapman and many more. Breakdown the way they clocked speed through time.
In the end they say Ryan was was the fastest.

A great find. Everyone with 90 minutes should watch.
Ryan with an injured elbow threw his very last pitch 98 MPH at 46 y/o.
incredible and a complete freak. 200+ pitches in a game.

I've discussed this with others who will say that a pitcher "only has 1 pitch".
But if it's elite it is so much more than only 1.

Shout out to you Dewey and Steve Dalkowski. 110 MPH.

What about Sid Finch, with the 160 mph fastball.
