Vandy by 2 Touch Downs

Post by Caregiver1 »

Based on what we all witnessed Vandy should be favored by 2 TD's. After that debacle I think we can all safely say that the Duke Mayo Bowl is fitting for an 8-4 record

Ridiculous.

They beat a solid SEC team on the road.

Auburn has lost 4 games in a row, all to teams ranked in the Top 16 by 7, 7, 10, and 7 points.

The SEC is brutal. The margin between winning and losing is so small. Crazy season.

this is the SEC and any win is a good one. having a QB who is insisting on throwing to other team is problematic of course and a OC who doesn't seem to know how to deploy his assets properly. But they are still 6 and 1 if you havn't noticed.

Next week is going to be a really tough game as both have similar traits. difference is they have very mature tough QB who gets things done and they are at home.

No doubt advantage to Vandy....they are riding high and have the qb most any team would want.

Couldn't agree more....the play calling remains a total wonder.

Play to your strengths dummy and stick with it and give your team a chance

Absolutely agree. 35-20 Vanderbilt over Missouri. The coaching is not close to being aggressive or adapting. Pribula making too many mistakes and the offensive line leaving him to be a deer in the headlights. Passing defense leaves a whole lot to be desired. This team, this year is just not going to be who we hoped for. Yes, they will have good SEC wins. At the end of the day however they just are not able to go toe to toe with the teams they need to. As a life long fan I enjoy their winning record but would just like in my lifetime to see them at least in the conversation for a national title.

We can win IF we make adjustments and get creative. We have to protect our secondary, which is susceptible to big plays. We have to pressure the QB and keep him bottle in the pocket or he’ll pick us apart.

Offensively we can’t just be predictable unless we discover early we have the advantage on the line. If ramming Hardy into the teeth of the D line doesn’t work then have some creativity ready in the passing game.

Our D is elite, we do have some serious weapons. But their offense is really, really good so it’ll be a major challenge. Should be a great game.

What the D did in OT is special - MU has some really talented players. What MU's WR's did all game is special - really talented. The OL, QB, and play calling have to get cleaned up before Vandy.

This sums it up nicely. The edge rushers here are special. UGA would love to have these guys. And the linebackers are not far behind, nor are the defensive tackles. The secondary still has too many breakdowns.

And on offense, you called it. Especially the play calling and the QB, though the OLline needs work.

nope, Mizzou got over the "away" hump last night in front of a legit crowd. Vandy and their 40K capacity won't be a factor.

Mizzou derails the Vandy hype train by 2 Tds... mark it down

I love your optimism, but I believe the game will closer. Vandy is legit and even when they were a losing program we had fits with them. Plus, they have a quarterback that has been in college for ten years. He's probably got is PhD by now.

The Tigers have been very good at containing dual threat QBs this year -- Daniels, Sellers and now Arnold. They employ a QB spy and pass rushers stay in lanes, and that has been working.

2 TD’s? Can’t see that. I think Mizzou will win, but it will be close.

It's a solid three on most sites.

ESPN has it at 2.5

QB play is what separates these teams. Can Pribula play better than Pavia? To date, the answer is no. Slow down Pavia and we win.
