8-3 Chicago Draft Picks over Army Draft Picks

But keep telling yourself that Army drafts well.

So if we end the season ahead of Chicago does that mean Army does draft well?

Since the lockout shortened 2012-2013 the Blackhawks have finished ahead of the Blues exactly one time. One time in 13 years. One time. 13 years.

Is this really the argument you want to make?

OP is definitely not winning logic awards.

I notice there were no threads comparing the performance of the Blues draft picks to that of Calgary's or Vancouver's picks over the weekend? Sure seems like it'd be more fair to compare them with other teams who historicaly draft in similar tiers.

Rather than focus on the past, which cannot change, wouldn't it be more logical for OP to be celebrating thrashings like we received last night, as they inch us closer to a higher pick this year?

My sock puppet, Army, tells me that he does not want a high pick. Not ever. I believe him. No matter how mediocre the team, Army and the NHL will find a way for the Blues to win at season end so that Army gets his wishes. Mark my words.

Two problem with Army drafting.

He doesn't follow my rules of drafting. Forward Skill, F/D power,
Youngest bpa,
And
He always drafts the same type of guy. While you can get many nhl games out of 'hard workers, you can't win if you don't play. Meaning you're not gonna be getting much elite play from "safe" picks

well after 13 years it's nice that Chicago was able to win a game or two early in the season.

They are now 3-16-2 against the Blues in their last 21.
