If the Blues would have scored one more goal to make it an 8-4 loss, would Binnington be tagged with the loss in the column due to giving up the 5th goal? I think that's the way hockey works with the GWG. Even though Hofer gives up 7 of the 8 goals, Binnington just one.
Hockey W/L definitely doesn't work the same as baseball pitchers W/L.
