I am way more concerned with Tucker. Two of the last four games we have seen serious issues with Tucker lead to goals. Mails is in a tough spot. He is learning and his partner has been brutal this year. I would swap Tucker first.

He’s been all over the map. Has made some good plays with the puck but yea plenty of bad too.
I was hyped for him after the WPG series bc he was playing well until he went down.

+\- is relative when you goalie puts out like Bonnie blue
He was -3 before that night and a minus with the Habs who said his defense wasn’t up to par
Was mostly a joke about how bad Hofer is tonight. Growing pains expected. Hope to see some ceiling moments before I really panic.
Problem is I can’t recall even a flash of the offensive talent these first few games. Can anyone remind me of even one?
I’m not thrilled with his play or the trade but we should probably give him more than 10 whole NHL games to get his feet wet at this level.
I’m just asking whether we’ve even seen of flash of what’s supposed to be his strength. I can’t recall one. Lots and lots of bad though.
A few losses now could mean the difference between playoffs and not, as we saw last year. We don’t have time for him to be fumbling and bumbling around the ice while also providing nothing on the other end

Tucker’s been a nightmare in two or three games already. Mailloux is going to catch a lot of heat, but I’d argue Tucker has been worse.
