Having them as managers/coaches isnt' the same as players.

But their leadership and ability to create a winning team culture doesn’t. Larussa did it Albert and Molina did it players said it all the time arenado confirmed it when he said the last couple of seasons the team came to the park hoping good things happen instead of expecting them to happen meaning the winning culture was gone when Molina and Albert left and their presence certainly has never been creating a toxic culture

There is no assurance either (Pujols or Molina) will be good managers or that with the same talent on the team anything will turn around.

Note I am not AGAINST hiring either as manager I'm just of the opinion unless there is improvement in the talent they manage both will get similar results.
