Good win!!!!

Neighbours, Hofer, and Thomas. My 3 stars in that order. Or Hofer first.

2-goal lead rather than 1 sure helps with that
I waited until the game was over, didn't want to jinx it. Game 7 last year we had a 2 goal lead too.

I liked the comments with Kerbs and Joey at the end of the game when Buch shot it off the boards to clear rather than shoot for the net and ice it. Kerbs said "We call that growth".

Bjugstad only 5 inches of ice time. Maybe the coach is finally seeing what we’ve seen as fans. Mailloux , Tucker and Joseph only about 8 1/2 minutes but I will say the last two guys were crucial in scoring the fourth goal.
Texier 6:42. Snuggie only 10.

Montgomery has shortened his bench

He's also been a big key on penalty kills.

Lots of special teams, and Tucker with the 5min major.

It was a good win for top players. Kyrou with the 6v5 blocked shot. Top line w/ Neighbours. Holloway. Suter with some good board play. Parayko. Fowler. Faulk.

That's after the shaky 1st and Jake got the goal.

Tucker needs vet help.
I think it’s actually Mailloux riding the pine and they are rolling 5 Dmen.
Well, they did have Mailloux with Broberg in this period. Tucker and Mailloux have the same TOI. Might shorten up bench in the last 5min now.
Mailloux actually played pretty well.

Baby steps.

I thought Texier had a few good shifts early in the game while most of the team wasn’t playing great. Doesn’t seem to take much for him to be benched

Coach needed to shorten the bench and nail the W, no quarrel there. The 3rd pairing needs to play more than 8 minutes, though. It may be time to dust off Kessel.

That was a nice play all around.

Neighbours-Thomas-Buch

Alright, let's go!
Faulk made that play happen, but I doubt anyone will give him credit for it

edit: see a few folks did note that.. good on ya

thought Tex played well as well.. not sure what Monty saw in the 3rd to tighten the lines up, but a win is a win

and Mailloux is gonna be fine. he looks like a rookie.. it's ok

Agree all around.

Texier and the others who aren’t on special teams will see miserable ice time in games like this.

They get cold, missing shift after shift while the boys on pk and pp skate their nutz off.
By the third period, in a tight game, of course the coach will use the guys that he has counted on the most.
