Mo would've never even considered this move knowing Yadi would be in his face if he saw something that needed to be addressed and Mo wasn't addressing it.

Yadi being a smart player and great baseball IQ does not translate into managerial success.

He also was very selfish late in his career and did not help his future replacements one bit, he basically stole 20 million his last year with his effort and time away from team

He needs to prove his worth and dedication to the team - bench coach, pitching coach, manage a minor league team.

Oli got a 3 year extension to feel no pressure to win, so maybe Bloom is now giving him the opposite treatment. If so, Bloom definitely scores some brownie points with me. The guy should have been fired over a year ago but tight wad Bill wasn't going to eat the rest of that little ole salary.

Marmol got a 2-year extension, not 3.

You know something. This might work out for the better. I'm not a big fan of Oli and some of his moves but, with Mo and his influences gone I'm curious to see how he manages in 26. I think Oli welcomed Yadi in. They just might make a good team in the dugout with "Meddling" Mo out of the picture...just maybe.
