Arizona Fall League (10/8)

Post by craviduce »

Travis Honeyman HR tonight.... 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored....hitless last night, with 1 run scored. Graysen Tarlow (Catcher) is the only other Cardinal prospect to play so far...he was hitless last night, with 1 run scored.

Honeyman's HR was crushed....the video feed shows the contact, but the camera stayed put behind homeplate. Measured 429 feet, 106.9mph EV

He didn't show that power at all this season.

Desert Dogs 8, Saguaros 1 ; Top 8th

no Cardinals pitchers have seen action in 2 games

I believe Lin is in the rotation for sometime this week.

-----

of note Hagen Smith started for the Dogs tonight...3 IP, 4 K, 2 BB, 0 R

Honeyman has a SB tonight....he had 1 last night, too.

----------------

MLB.com advertised tonight's game with a big Sebastian Walcott push/article...teenage prospect with the Rangers, he's on the Saguaros bench tonight....missed opportunity there.

and Honeyman has played CF both games.

Top draft prospect Braden Montgomery in 2024 (broke his ankle in the Regionals with A&M) is on the Desert Dog roster, but hasn't played in the first 2 games. Not sure if he's hurt again. Had a great year in the White Sox system this season. He was apart of the can't miss 8 prior to him breaking his ankle. I believe the Red Sox selected him 12th overall, and then traded him to the White Sox in the offseason.

White Sox walked away from the 2024 draft with Smith and Montgomery....quite a haul in the 1st round

Are these games available to watch on the MLB App, or otherwise?

Thanks

looks like every game will be streamed for free here...usually it was only 1 choice each day, but now you have a choice of all 3 games each day.

The Desert Dogs are now 2 wins and 4 losses. Top StL performers are M. Ugueto hitting .235 and Travis Honeyman hitting .125
