I was watching the Kings highlights from their 1st game, and related to jerseys, I thought:

John Kelly is announcing for the Purples instead of the Blues

(Wonder if he’ll miss St Louis as much as we will miss listening to him) .

I remember Rogie Vashon and that purple with the crown they wore (hate the black and white). I don’t have the game on tonight before anybody criticize about what I wrote. I mainly wanted to comment that about Kelly iand the color contrast with the Blues

Just watching opening night on Espn and watching the Kings vs Avs amd omg the kings new jersey is pretty sick…

Besides the blues what is your favorite jersey??? I am gonna say, I heard someone talk about the nordiques… they had an iconic jersey…

The one I hate?? A tie between the Avs and Predators

The Blues' road uniform is the best in the NHL. The Blue Note really stands out on that jersey. It's iconic because of its simplicity. Logos that are overly busy are not good. I liked it better when the switch was made for a while to wear the white jerseys at home. Wish they'd switch back!

Hate to introduce blasphemy to this thread but I have always loved the Blackhawks jersey and logo, both the white and red versions. Please don't have me cancelled for being insensitive to Native Americans.

I also love their goal horn, which I feel was the original goal horn. And they have the best anthem in sports.

Otherwise the Hawks can pound sand.

it's not blasphemy. we all the hate the hawks, i certainly do. but their red jersey is the best uni in sports and always has been. i HATED them so much when i was a kid in the 90s, but i had three jerseys back then - a blues roadie, and hawks roadie, and a NJ devils home with the green and red colors and i was out playing hockey almost every day in the hawks jersey, with the devils jersey coming second. i rarely wore the blues jersey, even though they are my team, haha.

It's a travesty that the Kings didn't make their purple and gold reverse retro's their full time jerseys
