If he does, then don't pay a penny of his remaining salary.
S. Cohen is worth $23,000,000,000!
NADO's remaining salary falls of of his pocket when he buys his daily Starbuck's coffee.

I hope they don’t do that deal for an extremely over paid aging pitcher. If they would eat Arenados contract I would take prospects only. And not their higher rated.

Another day, another Shady thread about a purely speculative MSN/SI/Fansided clickbait article, wrapped in an intentionally misleading thread title in order to get more clicks/attention.

Give it a rest man. Your sulky attitude regarding such trivial things indicates your life must be miserable. Seeking attention is not my goal. Discussing Cardinals baseball is. Cranny was right on about you.NYCardsFan wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 09:24 am Another day, another Shady thread about a purely speculative MSN/SI/Fansided clickbait article, wrapped in an intentionally misleading thread title in order to get more clicks/attention.

Not sure the Mets will want to deal with us again after the Helsley fiasco

And with all due respect, no one is interested in posting advice from someone who has been banned AND suspended multiple times by multiple forums for his spamming, trolling, and all-around bad behavior.

You ever read or heard the story about the girl crying wolf? That applies to you by your incessant harassment. Find yourself something more worthy to do. If you must continue your sorry posting habit, it's back on ignore.NYCardsFan wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 09:50 amPlease. If you would just stop maliciously spamming the forum, everyone would ignore you. But you already know that.Shady wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 10:01 amYou ever read or heard the story about the girl crying wolf? That applies to you by your incessant harassment. You claim to be a “decent,” “respectful” poster, yet you’ve been banned AND suspended multiple times by multiple forums. How do you explain that? Did they ban you for being too decent? For being too respectful?

Re: Could Arenado be heading to the Mets?
My guess is it would not impact anything. They knew what they were getting with Helsley

Re: Could Arenado be heading to the Mets?
I have to assume they thought were getting something closer to last year’s RH than what they got. He still had an ERA in the lower 3 range when they acquired him. But it probably still doesn’t matter in the grand scheme. Trades just turn out like that sometimes. It just happened to turn out REALLY bad for them in that one though.Jatalk wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 10:10 amMy guess is it would not impact anything. They knew what they were getting with Helsley

Re: Could Arenado be heading to the Mets?
Not saying he was good with the Mets (he wasn’t), but weird things happen in small samples, especially with relievers. In his 20 IP with the Mets, he had a .362 BABIP-against and a 14.5% HR/FB ratio. Too many BBs (4.95 BB/9), which of course are on him, but the guy just couldn't catch a break. I’m guessing the Mets view it as a reasonable trade that just didn’t work out. As you say, it happens.CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 10:38 amI have to assume they thought were getting something closer to last year’s RH than what they got. Donovan and Arenado to the Mets.
