Seems like he could be very effective given some room to operate. Like the Rams use to do with Marshall Faulk.

I would not force this. He's not a big part of that game for reason, IMO....let him do his thing.

And let Roberts do his.

The thing is. Sometimes, later in the season, a few different wrinkles in the offense can pay dividends.

Throw him the ball. That was hard to answer.

Just have the center snap the ball to him and let him run Shadewell. Why didn't you think of that? Spammer in chief Shady.

Martz used to say it's always about the matchups. They would put MF outside matched up with LBer or safety who would have little chance of covering him one on one. Would rather do that with Roberts who is excellent pass catcher and as tough to bring down as hardy and is faster. IF you have the right formation he could only have one guy to beat and be off to races.

They are at a point in the schedule where Moore may be forced to pass more -- when they are forced to come from behind. There will be more balls to around for receivers. You'll see more of the offense displayed against KU than you did against UMass. That may mean a larger role for Roberts in the pass game. Hardy has 1 catch for 2 yards, so I'm pretty sure there are no plans for him to be a receiver of consequence.

Mizzou ran the ball 47 times in a come from behind win vs kansas.

The Tigers ran it 48 times against SC, including 18 attempts in the fourth quarter to comeback and beat the Cocks

Hardy had eight receptions for 72 yards (no TDs) during all of last year for UL Monroe. It doesn't appear his previous coaches had him as an integral part of their passing game either.

It could be useful, maybe they’ve been working on some plays for him in practice. Not sure of the why behind it, but we might all be surprised (including a key opponent) when we spring it on them unexpectedly.

Oh no! You just let the cat out of the bag. Now Alabama will be watchjing for pass plays to Hardy.
