I didn't see any of the game.

Why are you so down on the guy that Pribula couldn't beat out?

Allar only connected on 3 passes that were downfield as he threw within 10yrs of line scrimmage all game, then he overthrew a TD that would have tied the game with a minute left. He is a solid QB, but seemed to have happy feet all game.

James Franklin made that call -- the guy who almost never wins a big game. Same as Allar. He chokes often in big games and now against a really bad team.

Allar is one of those NFL "measurables" guys who plays badly and makes bad decisions too often. Today, on 4th and 2 inside the 10, he decided to keep on an RPO and got immediately crunched. Game over. I guess "measurables" don't include decision-making.

The thing is, Allar might end up being a decent NFL QB under a coach who's not ultraconservative. WRs go to die at Penn State. But his decision-making will have to markedly improve or he will flunk out quickly.
