Hopefully

When Bloom gets around to replacing Oli, we haven't lost out on the best option to another team. Seeing Skip S might be the next manager of Texas and got me to thinking who will be off the market at that point.

Whoever it is will also have clean up the poor fundamental play the team has that oli apparently can’t help

Didn't you hear? That's not Oli's fault. Oli's "just a manager." He can't control what happens on the field. If the players can't figure out on their own that they should play better fundamentals, don't go blaming the manager. He's not out there on the field. If Oli had the Padres lineup, he'd never lose another game.

I mean, sure, he pulled an unhittable Quintana 2 innings too soon and burned through his entire pen and thought it was a good idea to get 5 outs from a 1-inning closer with a jammed finger but, hey, he didn't make Nado miss that ground ball. Just because the team's done nothing but go downhill to its worst state in 30 years since Oli became manager, that's not his fault.

He's not on the field!

Yes if I ever run into Ozzie smith I’ll be sure to tell him I know you’ve always said herzog was instrumental in you becoming a better hitter but you’re wrong cards talk says managers have no control or influence on players or games. And I’ll tell renteria I know you said Larussa taught you how to be a winner but you’re wrong managers don’t do anything

If you are saying that Dewitt told Chaim that he should say he has good synergy with Oli..... well I do not know that and neither do you. I think we should all take Chaim based on what HE says not what we think Dewitt told him to say. Now I maybe wrong but really don't think anyone on here is a mind reader.

I have less interest in the team because of the incompetent manager. He is a joke.
