I like Kerber and Joey a lot. I think people just like to complain...
Missed game last night, but liked them a lot on radio.
Hoping to catch game tomorrow night.

Kerber and Vitale are literally worse than Leah Hextall. And no this isn't because I like to complain, that is a simpleton thought

I don't know about that, I actually turned off a game when I heard her voice last year. She has some of the weirdest quips I have heard on a sports broadcast generally speaking but for hockey it was the worst I have heard on a regional/national level for sure.

And the play by play is pretty stale as well, all the time. Really nothing interesting or redeeming.

I’ve never listened to them on the radio and have only heard them this year on the goal videos posted on X but Kerber’s high pitch, squeaky voice is painful to listen to even in those shorter snippets. Hearing he’s behind on the plays is even worse bc I have no idea who’s on the ice unless the PBP guy says it. JK was the best and I fear this is going to be a long and annoying season.

I’ll take everyone’s word on Joey but, again, what I hear from the snippets is him talking on the goal replayabout how the Blues were exiting their zone at the same time the video of the goal being scored is played. His description and what’s happening on the screen don’t match up.

The worst part about this fiasco is the old refrain of “if you don’t like it, turn down the sound and listen to the radio” is no longer an option.

Can’t believe we went from JK and Panger to this hot mess so quickly.

whether they are or are not, the fact that it is debatable with Vitale vs. Hextall, is a huge problem. Vitale is unprofessional and he does not belong in this business. I don't want to hear about what Kerber's daughters friends preferences are or anything about how they feel or play about golf and luxury vacations either.

No disagreements here, I was really bummed when both JK and Panger left. Luckily, it wasn't all at once and I was good with Rivers by the end of the season last season. Not as good as Panger as color but he had good hockey knowledge and wasn't overly obnoxious.

Hockey itself is a 1st world issue/game to begin with?

I mean I can look away when they do the pp dance.

The product is dated and lame. There’s ways to make it more engaging
What is the obsession with hating on the powerplay dance? So weird, who cares honestly.

I think it's goofy but you (drat) well better bet I'm gonna do it at the game. Don't take yourself so seriously life's too short.
Yeah I’m shaking about it. It consumes me.
I would guess over the last few years if you had the ability to search for "powerplay dance" 90% or more of the mentions are from your account(s). Odd that you bring it up so much as someone who has such a small/non-existent physical presence at Enterprise.
When’s the last time I talked about PP dance? Is a couple times a year too much for you? What’s your threshold?

I am going to resist judging their performance until it’s a real broadcast. These preseason game broadcasts are bit of a hodgepodge using the scoreboard video

I don’t know why they call this Hamburger Helper, I think it tastes fine all by itself! Don’t you agree Clark?

Mailloux ... may you ... is that a French name? May ... yo? May you? Ah I'm such a relatable guy just doing my best to pronounce names in other languages. Let me tell you about my luxury trip there to France, and the quirky things that happened, and how I felt about it, all while the actual play is going on, because all we are doing here is hanging out with each other while we're all watching the game, no need to describe it. me yammering about my life during play helps you, the viewer.

Exactly. It’s preseason, these aren’t playoff games

I’m watching the game not too worried about what the announcers are saying white noise most of the time.

$$$$$

Panger and Kelly would, I imagine, cost many multiples of what Kerber and Vitale cost.
Panger has been gone, yes due to money.

All the more reason to hold onto what they had in Kelly.

It's a billion dollar enterprise. Act like it. This is one of the worst off ice moves the Blues front office has made since I can remember.

Penny wise pound foolish.

Vitale will come on local 101 here for a segment to talk hockey...of which there is already not enough time given to hockey...and will ramble on and on about stuff in his personal life he likes and does not like.

It's as annoying as it gets and HE ISN''T FUNNY either.

Kerbs is very arrogant, egotistical and annoying.
