I think so. What makes Pavia special is his motor, the kid is an outstanding competitor.

Pribula is just better IMO. But smaller sample size to measure his toughness. We’ll see, we have plenty of tests coming up.

Pavia is talking trash to Bama ahead of their game Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Saying that if Vandy plays its game, it won't be close. Yeah, maybe it won't be close even if Vandy plays its game with the result being a Bama blowout. We shall see.

I think he's only better at a result of his experience. It gives him a confidence that Beau doesn't have yet. I do think Beau is more talented.

Pavia has more experience but is a money type QB in getting it done no matter how. Beau is more accurate passer and faster runner. Pick who you want but are similar but different. Pavia has the better Oline and protection so there is that. Beau has dominant running backs and Oline much better at run blocking.

thing is there are more good QB's in SEC now than I can remember. course that's a low bar. Remember even last year Brady cook was in top 3 of many analysts lists and he was good but not at many of these guys levels. Imagine Ole miss has TWO outstanding QB's with one getting Wally Pipped with an injury and the Ferris state dude just took the job away from him and is one of best in SEC.

Pavia is more mature and has a LOT of starting experience and when things break down is much better at figuring out where to go and to get the ball to the right receiver. Picks up secondary receivers much better and continues to look downfield when flushed where Beau tucks and goes and STILL doesn't find second targets well.

Kirby has been even worse failure as QB coach than he has at calling plays where he has regressed as has his QB. you can tell those trying to defend him know nothing about what a OC does or has ever called a play in their life. Those of us who have can see the field with the advantage of replay can see how to getrdone.

Just like the bama game it was Ty being clutch and Beau not that was difference. After watching pavia against a really good LSU D would have to say the same thing probably will happen. Pavia is money while Beau just hasn't improved since KU game.
