Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
This is brutal. This endless inane self involved cleverness instead of what’s happening on the ice. This is a pathetic downgrade.
What’s done is done but the new ones they’ve chosen deserve to get rough feedback.

Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
I knew this season was going to be brutal on the ears.
Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
Perhaps they will improve after some feedback from us.

Oh for the days of JK and Panger! Sometimes we don't realize how good we have it!

You don't like hearing about Binnington's spice cabinet?

Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
Kerber just said something about sticking a noose on a newborn baby after the first Broberg goal.
What a weirdo.
What a weirdo.

Or some lame jokes about an orange hat? give me a breakMr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑02 Oct 2025 20:26 pm You don't like hearing about Binnington's spice cabinet?![]()
Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
I've heard worse than Kerbs on the play by play when he's actually doing it, but again I'll voice my opinion that he and Vitale together are, as you put it, excruciating.
I keep thinking, they have to just be like this because it's preseason. They have to get better and act like professionals in the regular season, right?
Not holding my breath on that one.

Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
He started talking about the orange hat being good for someone that just got out of prison and then he just kept doubling down making it worse and worse. It was so cringe and bad.xpath wrote: ↑02 Oct 2025 20:43 pmOr some lame jokes about an orange hat? give me a breakMr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑02 Oct 2025 20:26 pm You don't like hearing about Binnington's spice cabinet?![]()
I mean heck, if you’re going to be annoying then at least go into the random junior accomplishments of players from 10 years ago like Pierre McGuire did. He was weird and talked too much but at least he talked hockey during a hockey broadcast.

Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
Remember, they are RADIO guys, where it's a habit to overtalk everything (and tell lame stories) to fill the void created by a lack of visual content. It remains to be seen whether they will do anything to adjust, given that they still will be simulcast on the radio. That's one of the real drawbacks to this approach.
Re: Kerber and Vitale … are excruciating
No way. He just sang AC/DC and continued to comment "sorry, had to finish it, now we can go"
He finished the line:
Working double time on the seduction line
She's one of a kind, she's just mine, all mine
Wanted no applause, it's just another course
Made a meal outta me, "and come back for more"
Yes, it is a great song Kerbs, but not for you to sing on live broadcast.
...and then they go on about continuing it.
Someone save us.
