OT: Anyone know Union Station Parking Rate?

Post by Natl20 »

Going down tonight for the game, does anyone know how the parking works there and how much?

Their website gives no info, all it says is 'special event' rates may apply? So I go there without knowing what I'm going to be charged? Is it $20 or $100?

I parked there either last year or the year before and I believe it was $40.

How's it work for people visiting though? You have to pay astronomical parking if you want to go grab a drink and arent going to the game?

Not sure about that. I paid at the entrance to the parking lot and they didn't ask what I was parking there for, at least not that I remember.

I parked there last March and it was $40 as well. Tbh, I don't even remember it there was an attendant in the booth or if it was fully auto. We were staying at the hotel and were in and out several times with no issues.

There is a lot/lots? in between Union Station and the arena. We parked there for a playoff game and it was $30.

I always park at the former Oyo hotel. Still only $30 for covered parking.

If there is a bigger scam in this world then parking I don't know what it is.

The cost of the parking lot at Union Station didn't magically increase 200% when it was 10 bucks 5 years ago.

Odds are it'll be like 50-70 on opening night.

I used Spot Hero multiple times and paid around $20 and was 4 blocks away. Plus you can cancel anytime for free and get full refund. One other option is to park at Barnes hospital and ride Metro one stop.

Union Station has always been expensive. I think that's why it's been tough to make several different concepts work. There are a lot of alternatives to parking at Enterprise. The other lots around there are cheaper. I've parked at the Metro Grand Station and rode it over.
