And I’m solidly in the camp that we can do better than Oli and his Staff.
Having said that I believe you should walk before you run.
There should be a lot of roster moves prior to ST and then there figure to be more prospects(hopefully) emerging throughout 2026.
Baby steps.
If forced to make a prediction right now I don’t see Oli here in 2027.
That being said I hope Bloom makes good moves and Oli proves me wrong!

I disagree, with only "modest moves" during the offseason, the Cardinals' best starting pitchers would still not have matched the Reds' best of Greene, Lodolo, and Abbott.

I hope Bloom makes some big moves. I hope we are not disappointed with the moves he makes, or especially the ones he does not make.

If Bloom wants to roll with Oli, at least for 2026, I’ll trust him. Why not? If Mo was truly as bad as the consensus around here says he is, and DeWitt is as cheap as people say he is, then we have no talent at the MLB level or prospects for Oli to work with. How can you blame him for that?

As passionate as I get I still try to remember this is just sports and entertainment.
